Moving floor is a hydraulically-driven moving-floor conveyance system for moving bulk material or palletized product, which can be used in a warehouse, loading dock or semi-trailer. It automates and facilitates loading and unloading of palletized goods by eliminating the need for a forklift to enter the trailer. In a truck-based application, the system can quickly unload loose material without having to tip the trailer or tilt the floor as with other dumping systems. In a bulk material application such as a waste facility, these systems can reduce double handling by allowing any vehicle to deliver material to the conveying floor and move heavy bulk materials to subsequent stages of a process.

End dump trailers have been the most common dump trailers for many years. End dump trailers are named after their loading method. The front of the box is pushed up into the air via hydraulics allowing the materials to fall out of the back gate. Most commercial end dumps range in length from 26 to 40 ft and is commonly tandem or tridem axle configurations.End dumps are commonly used in construction (specifically road and building construction), as well as in the agriculture industry and aggregate stockpiling fields.

Side dump trailers are ideal for quick unloads! They're also tough and able to handle material such as, sand, gravel, rocks, and other loose substrate.

Belt trailers are similar to live floor trailers in the way it allows easier removal of the product in a precise way but belt trailers deal with loose material instead of palleted goods. Products hauled in these trailers include bulk commodities, agricultural commodities, municipal waste, and more. Belt trailers normally have a sloped side that in most cases is lined with a slick material which allows the product to slide onto the belt. These trailers can unload very quickly and normally doesnt excede 5 minutes.

Dry van shipping refers to the trailer used to haul shipments. Suitable for most general truck transportation, a dry van is the most common type of freight transportation, hauling pallets or boxes of cargo, as well as most any other type of equipment. A typical full truckload for a dry van trailer consists of 24 standard pallets of cargo that weighs up to 42,000 lbs. (or more).

Flatbed trailers are normally just a load floor and a bulkhead in front to protect the tractor. They can haul almost anything that can be loaded onto the trailer and strapped down.

Boot Trucking also uses Lowboy trailers that are a type of flatbed where the load floor can be positioned as close to the ground as need. Lowboys are most commonly used to haul heavy equipment, bulldozers, etc.
